As a Naturopath and Holistic Health Practitioner, Kylie is passionate about helping people with hormone imbalances and weight loss.
Kylie began her career in the Health Industryas a Personal Trainer. She worked for several years, training clients of varying body shapes and sizes. This gave her an understanding of the mind-body connection and how exercise or more specifically, functional movement, plays a pivotal role in healing, vitality and wellbeing.
While enjoying a fulfilling career as a Personal Trainer, Kylie realised thatexercise was only one step in the process towards achieving optimal health and wellbeing. This inspired her to study Naturopathy at Endeavour College of Natural health, where she obtained a Bachelor of Health Science (Naturopathy). Kylie studied the human body and the pathophysiology of disease and dysfunction, giving her an understanding ofbiochemical pathways and the implications of their imbalances. Kylie also studied herbal medicine and nutrition, learninghow diet and lifestyle changes, nutraceuticals and herbal extracts, can be used to resolve a person’s biochemical imbalances and dysfunctions, resulting in optimised health and vitality.
Through Kylie’s experienceas a Personal Trainer and Naturopath, she realised that tosignificantly improve an individual’s health, she needed to also work with their mind. She found with some individuals there were various road blocks within their mind that needed to be addressed. Optimal health involves more thanjust a balanced diet and regular exercise; people also need take care of their inner world of thoughts and beliefs, which ultimately form their choices and therefore behaviour. Kylie went on to study the science of Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP). The knowledge she gained through this study has given her the ability to assist in the reforming of the thoughts, beliefs and behaviours of her clients, enabling them to successfully reach their desired health goals and significantly change their lives.
As a Naturopath, Kylie’s approach towards achieving optimal health combines biomedical science, evidence based research with herbal and nutritional medicines, and dietary therapy to optimise health and wellness.
Kylie is a registered member of ANTA (Australian Natural Therapies Association) and looks forward to meeting with you and starting your journey towards optimal health.
