Our Patient Journey


This is to determine if we can help you and for you to learn more about our process and decide if we are a good fit for you.

Week 1 to 4

The first four weeks are all about getting you set up for success. This involves testing and results, and goal setting.

Week 5 to 20

From weeks 5 on you’ll have appointments to check in on your progress and tweak or add elements to your treatment plan.

These support services give you complete support online and via mobile and access to a community of people who are on the same journey.



15min Consult

This is our free consult, aimed at getting to know what we do better and helping you decide whether we are a good fit for you. In this consult, you'll chat with one of our practitioners about your condition and your symptoms and we will give you some information that might help. We'll then talk you through our process and treatment giving you a chance to ask any questions that you have.

Initial Assessment

This assessment appointment goes for 45min to an hour and is a deep dive into your symptoms. Your practitioner will analyse your symptoms, your family history, lifestyle, diet and exercise and use this to determine what level of functional testing you need. The assessment costs $187. Week 1 to 4


In Week 1 we send you out your testing kit. The testing you’ll be required to do can include blood, saliva or urine testing (depending on your symptoms):

  • BLOOD TESTING is done at your nearest Healius Group collection centre (2000+ locations Australia-Wide). They will collect your sample and return it to our lab for testing. For more information on locations CLICK HERE
  • URINE TESTING is done over 24 hours in the comfort of your own home. Once you’ve completed it pop it in the fridge and return it to us via Australia Post.
  • SALIVA TESTING is also done in the comfort of your own home. Three saliva samples are required. Once you’ve completed them, store them in the fridge until you are ready to post them back.
In Week 2, our focus is on helping you set your goals for your treatment. You’ll have an appointment with one of our practitioners where we will:
  • Chat through the importance of goals and how they can help you succeed.
  • Help you set the goals for your treatment.
  • Walk you through how to set up your goals and accountability SMSs in our HealthHub.
  • Give you a tour of our HealthHub, Mobile App and Private FB group. We’ll also chat to you about our daily group coaching calls.
  • Lastly we’ll make sure everything arrived and answer all your questions.
In Week 3 (provided you have completed your testing and your results are back), you’ll have your Report of Findings Appointment. In this appointment your practitioner will:
  • Review your test results with you and tell you what it all means.
  • Revise your program and your treatment plan.
  • Order any supplementation that you need.
  • Check in on your goals and answer any questions you may have.
In Week 4 our Patient Liason will give you a call just to check in and see how everything is going. They’ll:
  • check you’ve received any supplements and herbal liquids
  • discuss how you are feeling
  • and answer any questions you might have

Week 5 to 20


In Weeks 5 to 20 we have regular follow up appointments with you to check in on your progress. In these appointments we:
  • Track your progress towards your goals
  • Monitor improvements to your symptoms
  • Make tweaks to your treatment plan as necessary

3 days after every appointment we will send you a survey (provided you haven’t responded to on in the past 30 days). This enables us to immediately identify if there are issues with your treatment – and take action to get you back on track towards achieving your goals.

Your Practitioner will track your results at every appointment against your initial symptoms. Any patient who is not getting results will be referred on for a case review. This is a review conducted by our Review Panel (including our CEO) and depending on the case, sometimes includes our network of Global Thyroid Experts.
