Why did you become a naturopath?

I’ve always been interested in health and wellness. I decided on a career change and did my certificate to become a personal trainer and I loved it. I wanted to offer my clients a more wholistic approach to health so I completed a Bachelor of Health Science, Naturopathy degree. Through combining training, nutrition and the use of herbal medicine I found a more successful approach in assisting clients.

Why did you join The Lucy Rose Clinic?

I was lucky enough to join the team here at The Lucy Rose Clinic in 2018. The clinic has a functional approach to thyroid and hormone health that works. The training and opportunities provided by the clinic have been invaluable to my self development and continued growth as a naturopath. Furthermore, the Lucy Rose Clinic offers a way for individuals, who want address their health concerns, when they have previously been unsuccessful with conventional medicine.

What is the most memorable moment you’ve experienced at Lucy Rose?

One of the most memorable moments I’ve had was a patient who has been with the Lucy Rose Clinic for a while and had seen some fantastic results with her weight and energy levels but still struggled to sleep well. Within 3 months we had made some further lifestyle and diet changes and for the first time in almost 10 years she had started to sleep through the night.

How do you think you can help patients?
I feel the most important role for me as a naturopath is to educate all my patients, empower them with the knowledge on how to achieve health and wellness long term.
