Description

Thyroid Testing Profile Iodine

This profile is the ultimate thyroid testing panel – encompassing 8 different markers that measure different elements of thyroid function. Assessing your thyroid health is essential for menopause, as 40% of people experiencing menopausal symptoms have an undiagnosed thyroid condition making their symptoms worse. An Iodine Spot Test is also included in the profile to measure your Iodine levels and whether you may have a deficiency.

Stress and Sleep Profile

This profile measures your stress and sleep hormone levels throughout the day. Your stress hormone cortisol increases during menopause, depending on the levels it can cause other symptoms. Additionally, as distrurbed sleep is a key symptom of Menopause – assessing your sleep hormone levels is important in ensuring there isn’t anything else at play.

Metabolic Profile

This profile measures the nutritional and metabolic markers that are critical to ensuring your body functions optimally. When there are deficiencies in these markers, it can cause symptoms common to menopause such as mood swings and fatigue.

Sex Hormone Profile

This profile measures the three main sex hormones – Estrogen, Testosterone and Progesterone. These hormones fluctuate A LOT during menopause and these changes are responsible for some of the key symptoms – hot flashes, night sweats, palpitations, headaches, insomnia, fatigue, bone loss, vaginal dryness and changes to your menstrual cycle.

Detox Profile

This profile provides an overview of your liver health and whether it is detoxing optimally. Because your liver helps to balance your hormones and menopause is a time where hormones change quite drastically – it is very important that it is functioning at its best.

Cardiovascular Profile

This profile measures your heart health and inflammation levels – both of which can be severely impacted by Menopause.
